My stay at the Metropolitan near Metro Airport was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were clean, but the main areas and hallways seemed old and tired. The location was convenient, with helpful staff, but there were some cleanliness issues with the carpets. Overall, it was an okay stay with some drawbacks.
Staying at this hotel was like having the luxury experience of the Sheraton next door but at a much better price. The spacious and modern room had thoughtful details that made it incredibly comfortable and clean. I will definitely be returning for the sky light ambiance and the serene blue glow of the pool at night.
The hotel had a sky light in the room allowing natural light to come in, plus the pool area was beautifully lit with blue lights creating a nice ambiance. However, the room was smaller than expected and not clean, and there was no sofa or portable bed as promised by the clerk.
